DECREE

Regarding the adjustment of commune boundaries

in Lac Duong, Lam Ha, and Bao Lam districts, Lam Dong province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Upon the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government.

DECREE:

Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries of communes in Lac Duong, Lam Ha, and Bao Lam districts, Lam Dong province are adjusted as follows:

1. Establishing Don Knor Commune under Lac Duong District based on 16,500 hectares of natural area and 1,146 population of Da Long Commune.

Administrative boundary of Don Knor Commune: East borders Da Chais Commune; West borders Da Tong Commune and Lak District (Dak Lak Province); South borders Da Long Commune and Lat Commune; North borders Lak District (Dak Lak Province).

After adjusting the administrative boundary of Da Long Commune, it has 7,930 hectares of natural area and 1,789 population.

2. Establishing Da Nang Commune under Lam Ha District based on 5,673 hectares of natural area and 2,565 population of Phi Lieu Commune.

Administrative boundary of Da Nang Commune: East borders Phu Son Commune and Da Don Commune; West borders Phi Lieu Commune and Dak Nong District (Dak Lak Province); South borders Phuc Tho Commune and Da Don Commune; North borders Phi Lieu Commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundary of Phi Lieu Commune, it has 10,307 hectares of natural area and 2,279 population.

3. Establishing Tan Lac Commune under Bao Lam District based on 2,442.15 hectares of natural area and 3,247 population of Loc Thanh Commune.

Administrative boundary of Tan Lac Commune: East borders Loc An Commune and Di Linh District; West borders Loc Thanh Commune; South borders Loc Nam Commune; North borders Bao Loc City.

After adjusting the administrative boundary of Loc Thanh Commune, it has 8,637 hectares of natural area and 10,888 population.

Article 2. This Decree takes effect from the date of issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government, and heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
