VCONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TOWNS AND COMMUNES UNDER CHAU THANH DISTRICT, TAY NINH PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF TAY NINH PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT,
DECREE:
Article 1. NOW, THE TOWN AND COMMUNES UNDER CHAU THANH DISTRICT, TAY NINH PROVINCE ARE ESTABLISHED AS FOLLOWS:
1. TO ESTABLISH THE TOWN OF CHAU THANH UNDER CHAU THANH DISTRICT ON THE BASIS OF ADJUSTING 573 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 7,858 POPULATION FROM TRI BINH COMMUNE; 182 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 1,100 POPULATION FROM THAI Binh COMMUNE.
THE TOWN OF CHAU THANH HAS 755 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 8,958 POPULATION.
THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF THE TOWN OF CHAU THANH: EAST AND NORTH ADJOIN TRAI BINH COMMUNE; WEST AND SOUTH ADJOIN THAI BINH COMMUNE.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
TRAI BINH COMMUNE HAS 2,034 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 6,696 POPULATION.
THAI BINH COMMUNE HAS 6,369.5 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 21,709 POPULATION.
2. TO ESTABLISH DONG KHOI COMMUNE UNDER CHAU THANH DISTRICT ON 3,471 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 10,791 POPULATION FROM THAI BINH COMMUNE.
THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF DONG KHOI COMMUNE: EAST ADJOINS BINH MINH COMMUNE (TAY NINH CITY); WEST ADJOINS HAU DUC COMMUNE; SOUTH ADJOINS THAI BINH COMMUNE; NORTH ADJOINS TRA VONG COMMUNE.
AFTER ADJUSTING THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES, THAI BINH COMMUNE HAS 2,898.5 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 10,990 POPULATION.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE SHALL BE ABROGATED.
Article 3. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF TAY NINH PROVINCE, THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT, AND THE HEADS OF RELATED AGENCIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE.
