JOINT CIRCULAR
Supplemental Circular No. 36/TTLB dated June 23, 1997 on the level of expenditure for examination question preparation and organization of student excellence and graduation examinations
The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education and Training have issued Joint Circular No. 36/TTLB dated June 23, 1997 "Guidelines for expenditure standards for examination question preparation and organization of student excellence and graduation examinations"; which has defined the contents of expenditures for inspection and supervision before, during, and after the examination period but has not specified the specific levels of expenditure. To provide a basis for implementation, the two ministries issue the following supplementary levels of expenditure for inspection and supervision before, during, and after the examination period:
1. For examinations organized by the Ministry of Education and Training:
+ Chief inspector and supervisor: VND 30,000/person/day
+ Inspector and supervisor team members: VND 25,000/person/day
+ Expenditure for independent inspectors: VND 25,000/person/day
2. For examinations organized by the Department of Education and Training:
+ Primary school graduation examination expenses are calculated at 60% of the aforementioned expenditure levels.
+ Secondary school graduation examination and supplementary secondary education examination, admission examination for first-year classes, district and provincial student excellence examinations are calculated at 80% of the aforementioned expenditure levels.
Other provisions shall still be implemented according to Joint Circular No. 36/TTLB dated June 23, 1997.
