Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries of the communes YA LY, YA XIÊR and the establishment of YA TĂNG commune under Sa Thầy district, Kon Tum province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province,
DECREE:
Article 1. The administrative boundaries of the communes Ya Ly, Ya Xiêr and the establishment of Ya Tăng commune under Sa Thầy district, Kon Tum province shall be adjusted as follows:
Adjusting 1,146 hectares of natural area and 659 population from Ya Xiêr commune to be managed by Ya Ly commune. Establishing Ya Tăng commune based on 18,213 hectares of natural area and 3,162 population from Ya Ly commune. Administrative boundary of Ya Tăng commune: East borders Ya Ly commune; West borders Mo Rai commune; South borders Gia Lai province; North borders Ya Xiêr commune. After adjusting the administrative boundaries of Ya Ly, Ya Xiêr communes and establishing Ya Tăng commune: Ya Ly commune will have 3,823 hectares of natural area and 2,074 population remaining. Ya Xiêr commune will have 4,704 hectares of natural area and 2,910 population remaining.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
