APPROVING THE NUMBER OF ELECTORAL UNITS AND THE LIST OF SUCH UNITS AND THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO BE ELECTED IN EACH ELECTORAL UNIT FOR THE PERIOD 2004-2009 OF THE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL OF TIEN GIANG PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Elections of Members of People's Councils dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 429/2003/NQ-UBTVQH of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly dated December 23, 2003 on fixing the date of elections of members of People's Councils at all levels for the 2004-2009 term;
AT THE REQUEST OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF TIEN GIANG PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AFFAIRS,
DECREE
Article 1. APPROVES THE NUMBER OF 16 (SIXTEEN) ELECTORAL UNITS, 65 (SIXTY-FIVE) DELEGATES TO THE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL OF TIEN GIANG PROVINCE AND THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO BE ELECTED IN EACH ELECTORAL UNIT FOR THE PERIOD 2004-2009 (ATTACHED LIST).
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL, THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF TIEN GIANG PROVINCE, THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AFFAIRS AND THE MINISTER AND HEAD OF THE GOVERNMENT'S OFFICE SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECREE./.
