THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).Now, we adjust the administrative boundaries of communes under Bac Lieu City and the districts of Hong Dan, Gia Rai, Bac Lieu Province as follows:
DECREE:
Article 1. 1. Establish Vinh Trach and Vinh Trach Dong Communes under Bac Lieu City based on the entire area and population of Thuan Hoa Commune.
a) Vinh Trach Commune has 4,229.81 hectares of natural land area and 12,804 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of Vinh Trach Commune: East borders Soc Trang Province; West borders Ward 5; South borders Vinh Trach Dong Commune; North borders Vinh Loi District.
b) Vinh Trach Dong Commune has 4,656.97 hectares of natural land area and 9,632 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of Vinh Trach Dong Commune: East borders Soc Trang Province; West borders Hiep Thanh Commune; South borders the East Sea; North borders Vinh Trach Commune.
2. Establish Ninh Quoi A Commune under Hong Dan District based on 3,691 hectares of natural land area and 14,047 inhabitants of Ninh Quoi Commune.
Administrative boundary of Ninh Quoi A Commune: East borders Soc Trang Province; West borders Ninh Hoa Commune; South borders Vinh Phu Dong Commune; North borders Ninh Quoi Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Ninh Quoi Commune has 3,235 hectares of natural land area and 11,569 inhabitants.
3. Establish Phong Thanh Dong A Commune under Gia Rai District based on 2,691.54 hectares of natural land area and 15,207 inhabitants of Phong Thanh Dong Commune.
Administrative boundary of Phong Thanh Dong A Commune: East borders Vinh Loi District; West borders Gia Rai Town and Phong Tan Commune; South borders Long Dien Dong A Commune and Gia Rai Town; North borders Phong Thanh Dong Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Phong Thanh Dong Commune has 2,699 hectares of natural land area and 6,775 inhabitants.
4. Establish Long Dien Dong A Commune under Gia Rai District based on 5,947.93 hectares of natural land area and 15,342 inhabitants of Long Dien Dong Commune.
Administrative boundary of Long Dien Dong A Commune: East borders Vinh Loi District; West borders Long Dien Dong Commune; South borders Long Dien Commune; North borders Phong Thanh Dong A Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Long Dien Dong Commune has 6,463.2 hectares of natural land area and 18,027 inhabitants.
This Decree takes effect from the date of issuance. All previous regulations that conflict with this Decree are abolished.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu Province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu Province, the Minister, the Director of the Organization-Cadres Department under the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
