CIRCULAR

Issuing National Technical Regulations on safety conditions

 and food hygiene in aquatic product production

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Fisheries Law dated November 26, 2003;

Pursuant to Decree 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decree 75/2009/ND-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Article 1. This Circular promulgates 2 National Technical Regulations on safety and food hygiene conditions in aquatic product production:

National Technical Regulation: Industrial feed production facility for aquaculture - Food safety assurance conditions, veterinary hygiene, and environmental protection

2. National Technical Regulation: Aquatic seed production facility - Food safety, biological safety, and environmental conditions

Code: QCVN 02 - 15: 2009/BNNPTNT

Article 2. This Circular takes effect six months from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Director of the Quality Management Department of Forestry Products and Aquatic Products, the Aquaculture Cultivation Department, and the Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals shall be responsible for implementing these regulations.

During the implementation process, if there are difficulties, agencies, organizations, and individuals shall promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for study, amendment, and supplementation./.
