CIRCULAR

Regarding the regulation on the level of collection, collection system, submission, management, and use of fees for crossing the Da Ngai ferry

(part of the Vam Cong ferry cluster)

Pursuant to Decree No. 57/2002/NĐ-CP dated June 3, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on Fees and Charges;

Pursuant to Decree No. 24/2006/NĐ-CP dated March 6, 2006 of the Government amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No. 57/2002/NĐ-CP dated June 3, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on Fees and Charges;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 118/2008/NĐ-CP dated November 27, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

After receiving the opinion of the Ministry of Transport in Circular No. 1673/BGTVT-TC dated March 22, 2010;

The Ministry of Finance hereby stipulates the level of collection, collection system, submission, management, and use of fees for crossing the Da Ngai ferry, 

Article 1. This Circular annexes the Table of Ferry Fee Rates for the Dai Ngai ferry.

Article 2. The subjects required to pay the fee are specifically defined in the Fee Schedule and include: pedestrians, people carrying goods, drivers of transportation vehicles, and passengers requiring charter services for the entire ferry trip; excluding students and children of school age (walking or cycling).

Children of school age are those under 18 years old.

Article 3

1. The exemption and reduction of fees for crossing the Da Ngai ferry shall be implemented in accordance with Clause 6, Article 1 of Decree No. 24/2006/NĐ-CP dated March 6, 2006 of the Government amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No. 57/2002/NĐ-CP dated June 3, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on Fees and Charges.

Article 4. The management and use of fees for crossing the Da Ngai ferry shall be carried out in accordance with Circular No. 62-TT/LB dated March 27, 1993 of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Transport guiding the organization of collection, management, and use of tolls for ferries, pontoon bridges, and current laws and regulations on fees and charges.

Article 5

1. This Circular takes effect 45 days from the date of signature.

2. In the course of implementation, if there are any difficulties, organizations and individuals are requested to report to the Ministry of Finance for research, guidance, and supplementation./.
