DECREE
Regarding the establishment of wards and towns under the city of Uong Biand Cot Commune, Quang Ninh Province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).The People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now establish wards and towns under the city of Uong Bi and Cot Commune, Quang Ninh Province as follows:
1. Establish Nam Khe Ward under the city of Uong Bi based on the entire area and population of Nam Khe Commune.
Nam Khe Ward has 910 hectares of natural area and 4,873 inhabitants.
Administrative boundaries of Nam Khe Ward: East borders with Yen Hung District, West borders with Trung Vuong Ward, South borders with Yen Hung District, North borders with Hoanh Bo District.
2. Establish Yen Thanh Ward under the city of Uong Bi based on 1,626 hectares of natural area and 6,969 inhabitants of Phuong Dong Commune.
Administrative boundaries of Yen Thanh Ward: East borders with Quang Trung Ward, West borders with Phuong Dong Commune, South borders with Bac River, North borders with Thanh Son Ward.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Phuong Dong Commune will have 2,466.9 hectares of natural area and 10,064 inhabitants.
3. Establish Coto Town - the town seat of Cot Commune on the basis of 650 hectares of natural area and 2,011 inhabitants of Coto Commune.
Administrative boundaries of Coto Town: East borders with Thanh Lan Commune, West borders with Minh Chau Commune, South borders with the East Sea, North borders with Coto Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Coto Commune will have 1,654 hectares of natural area and 1,015 inhabitants and will be renamed Dong Tien Commune.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect from the date of issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
