Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decree No. 37/CP dated June 4, 1994 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Governmental Religious Committee;
Pursuant to Decree No. 06/1999/NĐ-CP dated February 10, 1999 of the Government amending Clause 1 of Article 7 of the Government's Decree No. 79 dated November 6, 1993 detailing the implementation of the Law on Publishing;
At the proposal of the Head of the Governmental Religious Committee and the Minister, Head of the Governmental Organizational-Cadre Affairs Committee,
DECISION:
Article 1. Establish the Religious Publishing House under the Governmental Religious Committee to perform the function of publishing various types of religious books, works, teaching materials, purely religious cultural products of religious organizations permitted by the State to operate, and various types of books serving propaganda and education on laws, policies, and guidelines on religion of the Party and the State.
The Religious Publishing House is a self-financing entity with its own seal and separate account, and its headquarters is located in Hanoi City.
Article 2. The tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Religious Publishing House shall be stipulated by the Head of the Governmental Religious Committee.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decision are hereby abolished.
Article 4. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
