Decree No. 83/2002/NĐ-CP On the establishment of communes and wards under the districts of Chau Duc, Xuyen Moc, Bac Lieu town, and Vung Tau city, Binh Duong-Vung Tau province

DECREE

Regarding the establishment of communes and wards under the districts of Châu Đức, Xuyên Mộc, the city of Bà Rịa

and the city of Vũng Tàu, province of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu province and the Minister of Interior,

DECREE:

Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish communes and wards under the districts of Châu Đức, Xuyên Mộc, the city of Bà Rịa and the city of Vũng Tàu, province of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu as follows:

1. Establish Ward 12 under the city of Vũng Tàu based on 3,429.8 hectares of natural area and 15,826 population of Ward 11.

Administrative boundary of Ward 12: East borders Long Điền district; West borders Long Sơn commune and Ward 11; South borders Ward 11 and the East Sea; North borders Bà Rịa city.

After establishing Ward 12, Ward 11 will remain with 1,069.2 hectares of natural area and 10,001 population.

2. Establish Ward Long Hương under Bà Rịa city based on 1,485.1 hectares of natural area and 6,767 population of Long Hương commune.

Administrative boundary of Ward Long Hương: East borders Wards Phước Trung, Phước Hiệp, and Phước Hưng; West borders Kim Dinh Ward; South borders Vũng Tàu city; North borders Phước Hưng Ward and Tân Thành district.

3. Establish Ward Kim Dinh under Bà Rịa city based on the remaining natural area and population of Long Hương commune.

Ward Kim Dinh has 1,804.9 hectares of natural area and 7,356 population.

Administrative boundary of Ward Kim Dinh: East borders Long Hương Ward; West borders Tân Thành district; South borders Vũng Tàu city; North borders Long Hương Ward and Tân Thành district.

4. Adjust administrative boundaries to establish Cù Bị commune under Châu Đức district:

Transfer all of the Liên Hiệp 2 hamlet (team 1 rubber plantation Cù Bị) of Xà Bang commune with 941 hectares of natural area and 2,744 population, and Tân Giao hamlet of Ngãi Giao town with 627 hectares of natural area and 875 population to be managed by Láng Lớn commune.

After adjusting administrative boundaries to transfer the Liên Hiệp 2 hamlet (team 1 rubber plantation Cù Bị) of Xà Bang commune and Tân Giao hamlet of Ngãi Giao town to Láng Lớn commune:

- Láng Lớn commune will have 6,760 hectares of natural area and 13,670 population.

- Xà Bang commune will remain with 3,785 hectares of natural area and 12,325 population.

- Ngãi Giao town will remain with 2,490.6 hectares of natural area and 14,823 population.

Establish Cù Bị commune based on 4,671 hectares of natural area and 8,642 population of Láng Lớn commune.

Administrative boundary of Cù Bị commune: East borders Xà Bang commune; West borders Tân Thành district and Đồng Nai province; South borders Láng Lớn commune; North borders Đồng Nai province.

After establishing Cù Bị commune, Láng Lớn commune will remain with 2,089 hectares of natural area and 5,028 population.

5. Establish Tân Lâm commune under Xuyên Mộc district based on 8,557.995 hectares of natural area and 5,593 population of Bàu Lâm commune.

Administrative boundary of Tân Lâm commune: East borders Hòa Hiệp commune and Đồng Nai province; West and North border Đồng Nai province; South borders Bàu Lâm commune.

After establishing Tân Lâm commune, Bàu Lâm commune will remain with 3,519.165 hectares of natural area and 8,970 population.

Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu province, the Minister of Interior, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree. /./
