DECREE-LAW
NO. 83 AUGUST 2, 1949
PRESIDENT
VIETNAMESE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 50/SL dated June 18, 1949 organizing the Ministry of National Defense;
Pursuant to Decree-Laws Nos. 33 dated March 22, 1946 and No. 71 dated May 22, 1946 organizing and establishing rules for the Vietnamese National Army;
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 120/SL dated January 25, 1948 organizing the Military Zones;
At the proposal of the Minister of National Defense concurrently serving as Chief Commander of the Vietnamese National Army;
In accordance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers,
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:
Article 1
Appoints:
Major General Vu Hien,
Deputy Chief of Staff of the Vietnamese National Army, to serve as Deputy Commander of Military Zone 3 in place of Major General Hoang Minh Thao who is reassigned.
Article 2
The Minister of National Defense concurrently serving as Chief Commander of the Vietnamese National Army shall implement this Decree-Law.
