THE MINISTER OF THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS
Pursuant to Decree No. 48/2008/NĐ-CP dated April 17, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Home Affairs;
Pursuant to Directive No. 27/2004/CT-TTg dated July 15, 2004 of the Prime Minister on enhancing activities for women's advancement in ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government-affiliated agencies, and provincial/municipal people's committees under the central government;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Personnel Organization,
DECISION:
Article 1. To establish the Committee for Women's Advancement at the Ministry of Home Affairs to perform the function of assisting the Minister in developing and implementing programs for women's advancement within the ministry and in the field of organizational and personnel affairs according to the tasks, powers, and responsibilities of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the tasks assigned by the Prime Minister for the implementation of the National Action Plan for Women's Advancement in Vietnam.
The members of the Committee for Women's Advancement at the Ministry of Home Affairs include the following:
1. Mr. Nguyen Duy Thang - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Chair
2. Mr. Le Dinh Minh - Deputy Director of the Personnel Department, Vice-Chair (acting)
3. Ms. Nguyen Hoang Oanh - Director of the General Department, Vice-Chair
4. Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Director of the Civil Servant and Public Official Department, Member
5. Mr. Duong Cuong - Director of the Salary Department, Member
6. Mr. Chu Van Than - Director of the Training and Capacity Building Department for State Officials, Member
7. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh - Chief of the Office of the Ministry, Member.
Article 3. During its operation and execution of assigned tasks, the Chair of the Committee for Women's Advancement at the Ministry may decide to mobilize additional staff from units under the Ministry of Home Affairs to participate in common tasks.
Article 4. The Committee for Women's Advancement at the Ministry of Home Affairs operates according to its charter and reports regularly to the Minister and relevant state agencies as prescribed.
Article 5. The operating expenses of the Committee for Women's Advancement at the Ministry of Home Affairs shall be covered by the Ministry's budget in accordance with general regulations of the state and the Ministry of Finance.
Article 6. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance and replaces Decision No. 2214/QD-BNV dated November 8, 2004 of the Minister of Home Affairs regarding the establishment of the Committee for Women's Advancement at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Article 7. The Chief of the Office of the Ministry, the Director of the Personnel Department, and the officials named in Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
