DECREE-LAW
NO. 84 AUGUST 2, 1949
PRESIDENT
VIETNAM DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 50/SL dated June 18, 1949 organizing the Ministry of National Defense;
Pursuant to Decree-Laws Nos. 33 dated March 22, 1946 and No. 71 dated May 22, 1946 organizing and establishing rules for the Vietnam National Army;
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 120/SL dated January 15, 1948 organizing the Military Zones;
At the proposal of the Minister of National Defense concurrently serving as Chief Commander of the Vietnam National Army;
By resolution of the Council of Ministers,
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:
Article 1
Appoints:
Major General Hoang Minh Thao,
Deputy Commander of Military Zone 3,
to serve as Commander of Military Zone 4 in place of Lieutenant General Nguyen Son, who has been reassigned to another position.
Article 2
The Minister of National Defense concurrently serving as Chief Commander of the Vietnam National Army shall implement this Decree-Law.
