PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Land Law dated July 14, 1993 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Land Law dated December 2, 1998;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City (document number 1058/CV-UB-QLĐT, March 23, 1999) and the report of the Land Administration General Department (report number 1225/TT-TCDC, August 14, 1999).
DECISION:
Article 1. Recovering 46,294 square meters of land in Phu Thuan Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, and leasing 45,000 square meters of this recovered land area to the Southern Container Company for investment in constructing a container storage yard.
The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will manage the remaining 1,294 square meters of land for expanding local traffic roads according to planning. The lease term is 50 years, starting from the date of signing the land lease decision. The location and boundaries of the land area are determined according to map number 9018/GD-DC at a scale of 1/2000 established by the Ho Chi Minh City Land Administration - Real Estate Department on December 29, 1998.
Article 2. Pursuant to Article 1 of this Decision, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City shall be responsible for:
1. Determining specific boundary markers on the land plot on maps and on-site, registering them in the State land registry, signing the land lease contract, and issuing the land use right certificate to the Southern Container Company;
2. Directing the payment of land lease fees to the State budget;
3. Strictly monitoring land use and environmental protection in accordance with current regulations.
Article 3. The Ministers of the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Finance, the Director-General of the Land Administration General Department, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the General Director of the Vietnam Shipping Corporation, the Director of the Southern Container Company, and the Heads of related departments are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
