DECISION

Regarding the transformation of the Research and Application of Information Technology Department into the Water Resources Information Technology Center under the Southern Institute of Water Resources Science

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 07/2000/NQ-CP dated June 5, 2000 of the Government on the construction and development of the software industry for the period 2000-2005;

Pursuant to Decision No. 1621/NN/QD/TCCB dated July 9, 1997 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Southern Institute of Water Resources Science;

Upon the proposal of the Director of the Southern Institute of Water Resources Science, the Director of the Science and Technology Department, and the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. The Research and Application of Information Technology Department shall be transformed into the Water Resources Information Technology Center under the Southern Institute of Water Resources Science. The Center shall have the task of researching, developing, applying, and transferring information technology in the field of water resource management and development.

Article 2. The Director of the Southern Institute of Water Resources Science shall specify the tasks, staffing, operational regulations, and specific details of the Water Resources Information Technology Center according to the current tasks and classification levels assigned by the Ministry.

This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.

Article 3. - The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department, the Heads of relevant agencies and units under the Ministry, and the Director of the Southern Institute of Water Resources Science are responsible for implementing this decision.
