Decision No. 85/2004/QĐ-TTg On Adjusting Personnel of the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to Decree No. 78/2002/NĐ-CP dated October 4, 2002 of the Government on credit for the poor and other policy beneficiaries;

Pursuant to Decision No. 131/2002/QĐ-TTg dated October 4, 2002 of the Government Chairman on the establishment of the Social Policy Bank;

Pursuant to Decision No. 16/2003/QĐ-TTg dated January 22, 2003 of the Government Chairman on the approval of the Charter on organization and operation of the Social Policy Bank;

Pursuant to Decision No. 1227/QĐ-TTg dated December 24, 2002 of the Government Chairman on the appointment of leaders of the Social Policy Bank;

At the proposal of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam at Circular No. 163/NHNN-TCCB dated February 19, 2004 and of the Minister of Home Affairs at Circulars No. 752/TTr-BNV dated April 7, 2004 and No. 1038/TTr-BNV dated May 7, 2004,

DECISION:

Article 1. Now adjust the personnel of the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank as follows:

1. Agree that Governor Le Duc Thuy of the State Bank of Vietnam shall cease to concurrently hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank.

2. Appoint Deputy Chairman Ha Dang Huan to serve as Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank.

3. Abolish the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank.

4. Appoint Ms. Vu Thi Lien, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, as Member of the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.

Any provisions related to the concurrent position of Chairman and the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank stipulated in Clause 1, Article 6 of Decision No. 131/2002/QĐ-TTg dated October 4, 2002; Clause 1, Article 1 of Decision No. 1227/QĐ-TTg dated December 24, 2002; Clauses 1 and 4, Article 21 of the Charter on organization and operation of the Social Policy Bank promulgated together with Decision No. 16/2003/QĐ-TTg dated January 22, 2003 of the Government Chairman, and other previous provisions contrary to this Decision are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
