Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries of communes and the establishment of communes under Dong Hai district and Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province,
DECREE:
Article 1. The adjustment of administrative boundaries of communes and the establishment of communes under Dong Hai district and Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province shall be as follows:
1. Establishing An Trach A commune under Dong Hai district based on the adjustment of 4,807.48 hectares of natural area and 11,238 population from An Trach commune.

Administrative boundary of An Trach A commune: East borders Ho Phong town, Gia Rai district and Long Dien commune; West borders An Trach commune; South borders An Phuc commune; North borders Tan Phong commune, Gia Rai district.
2. Establishing Diep Hai commune under Dong Hai district based on the adjustment of 3,400.04 hectares of natural area and 9,408 population from Long Dien Tay commune.

Ninh Thanh Loi commune remains with 6,641.75 hectares of natural area and 10,346 population.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Minister of Home Affairs, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
