DECREE-LAW

OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

NUMBER 85 DATED OCTOBER 20, 1947

THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 63 dated November 23, 1946 and Decree-Law No. 77 dated December 21, 1945 organizing the people's administration and administrative committees.

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 1-SL dated December 18, 1946 establishing the Protection Committee and the Command Order of Joint Department No. 6-NV/CT dated December 28, 1946 implementing that decree-law.

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 235-SL dated July 25, 1947 organizing Zone 14.

Pursuant to the appointment decree regarding the appointment of personnel in the Resistance Committee of the Zone.

Pursuant to the appointment decree appointing Mr. Ding Cong Phu as a member of the Resistance Committee of Zone 14.

Based on the results of the election for Chairman of the Resistance Committee of Zone 14 held on

ISSUES THE DECREE-LAW:

Article 1

Approves the results of the election for Chairman of the Resistance Committee of Zone 14 held on October 15, 1947.

Article 2

Officially recognizes Mr. Ding Cong Phu as Chairman of the Resistance Committee of Zone 14.

Article 3

The Ministers of Interior, National Defense, Finance, Justice, Economy and the Chief Commander of the National Army shall implement this decree-law accordingly.
