Approving the number, list of electoral units, and the number of representatives to be elected in each electoral unit for the provincial People's Council
IN EACH ELECTION UNIT FOR THE PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL
term 2004 - 2009 of the People's Council of Cao Bang province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Elections of Members of People's Councils dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 429/2003/NQ-UBTVQH of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly dated December 23, 2003 on fixing the date of elections of members of People's Councils at all levels for the 2004-2009 term;
At the request of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province and the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECREE
Article 1. Approve the number of 14 (fourteen) electoral units, 50 (fifty) members of the People's Council of Cao Bang province, and the number of representatives to be elected from each electoral unit for the term 2004 - 2009 of the People's Council of Cao Bang province (attached list).
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Chairmen of the People's Councils, the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Cao Bang province, the Minister of Interior, and the Chairman of the Office of the Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
