Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/ND-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Directive No. 08/2006/CT-TTg dated March 8, 2006 of the Government on strengthening urgent measures to prevent illegal logging, forest burning, and unauthorized forest exploitation;

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the "Regulation on the management and use of working dogs for forest protection in Forest Protection units" attached hereto.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Forest Protection Department, the Heads of subordinate units of the Ministry related to this matter; the Chiefs of Forest Protection Sub-departments, the Directors of National Parks under the Ministry equipped with working dogs are responsible for implementing this Decision.
