DECREE-LAW
NO. 87 AUGUST 2, 1949
PRESIDENT
THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to decree-law No. 206-SL dated August 19, 1948 establishing the Supreme National Defense Council;
In accordance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers after consultation with the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:
Article I
Article 2 of Decree-Law No. 206-SL dated August 19, 1948 is hereby amended as follows:
"New Article 2: The Supreme National Defense Council consists of the following members:
- Chairman of the Government: Chairman of the Supreme National Defense Council.
- Mr. Phạm Văn Đồng, Deputy Prime Minister: Vice-Chairman
Members:
- Mr. Lê Văn Hiền, Minister of Finance
- Mr. Phan Kế Toại, Acting Minister of Interior Affairs
- Mr. Phan Anh, Minister of Economy
- General Võ Nguyên Giáp, Minister
of the Ministry of National Defense and People's Militia of Vietnam
- Mr. Tạ Quang Bửu, Deputy Minister of Defense
Article II
The Supreme National Defense Council shall implement this decree-law.
