Regarding the adjustment of the Plan for the reorganization of certain companies
under the Vietnam Chemicals Corporation until 2006
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the State Enterprise Law on November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Decision No. 155/2004/QĐ-TTg dated August 24, 2004 of the Prime Minister on issuing criteria and classification lists for state-owned enterprises and independent accounting subsidiaries under state corporations;
Considering the proposal of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Chemicals Corporation.
DECISION:
Article 1. Adjust the Plan for the reorganization of certain companies under the Vietnam Chemicals Corporation until 2006 as set out in the attached annex.
Article 2. The Minister of Industry shall be responsible;
1. To direct the implementation of the reorganization and renovation of state-owned enterprises directly under the Vietnam Chemicals Corporation in accordance with the content and schedule approved in Decision No. 183/QĐ-TTg dated February 19, 2003 and this Decision.
2. To direct the Vietnam Chemicals Corporation to review and continue selling state shares in joint-stock companies with capital from the Corporation based on Decision No. 155/2004/QĐ-TTg dated August 24, 2004 of the Prime Minister.
3. To direct the Vietnam Chemicals Corporation to develop a Proposal to convert the Vietnam Chemicals Corporation to operate under the holding company-subcompany model as prescribed by law, to be submitted to the Prime Minister in the third quarter of 2005.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
The Minister of Industry; the Board of Directors, General Director of the Vietnam Chemicals Corporation, and Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
