Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to Decree No. 170/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned farms;

Pursuant to Decision No. 155/2004/QĐ-TTg dated August 24, 2004 of the Prime Minister on issuing criteria and classification lists for state-owned companies and independent accounting subsidiaries of state-owned corporations;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City,

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. Approves the Plan for the reorganization and modernization of state-owned farms directly under the People's Committee of Can Tho City as follows:

- Transforming the Song Hau Farm into the Song Hau Agricultural Company.

- Transforming the Co Do Farm into the Co Do Agricultural Company.

Article 2. Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City:

1. Direct the implementation of the reorganization and transformation of state-owned farms as provided in Article 1 of this Decision.

2. Develop land use plans for the aforementioned companies in accordance with local economic and social development strategies and agricultural, forestry, and fisheries development plans; transfer public-use land and residential land currently managed by the farms back to local management, and implement land allocation and leasing methods within these companies in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Article 3. The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Home Affairs, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and related agencies shall be responsible for coordinating with the People's Committee of Can Tho City in implementing this Plan.

The Steering Committee for Enterprise Modernization and Development shall be responsible for directing, urging, guiding, and monitoring the implementation of this Plan, and at the same time, propose solutions to thePrime Minister to address difficulties encountered during the implementation process.

Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
