DECREE
Regarding the establishment of Phú Tài, Xuân An, Hàm Tiến, Phú Hài wards; renaming Hàm Tiến commune under Phan Thiết city and establishing Đa Mi commune under Hàm Thuận Bắc district, Bình Thuận province.
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bình Thuận Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government,
Establish Phú Tài, Xuân An, Hàm Tiến, Phú Hài wards; rename Hàm Tiến commune under Phan Thiết city and establish Đa Mi commune under Hàm Thuận Bắc district, Bình Thuận province as follows:
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
1. Establish Phú Tài ward under Phan Thiết city based on 285.43 hectares of natural area and 6,676 population from Phong Nẫm commune.
DECREE:
Article 1. Administrative boundaries of Phú Tài ward: East borders Phú Trinh, Đức Nghĩa, Lạc Đạo wards; West borders Phong Nẫm and Tiến Lợi communes; South borders Tiến Lợi commune and Đức Long ward; North borders Phong Nẫm commune and Xuân An ward.
2. Establish Xuân An ward under Phan Thiết city based on 203.97 hectares of natural area and 5,564 population from Phong Nẫm commune.
Administrative boundaries of Xuân An ward: East borders Phú Thủy ward; West borders Phong Nẫm commune; South borders Phú Trinh and Phú Tài wards; North borders Hàm Thuận Bắc district.
After adjusting administrative boundaries to establish Phú Tài and Xuân An wards, Phong Nẫm commune retains 461.8 hectares of natural area and 5,793 population.
3. Establish Hàm Tiến ward under Phan Thiết city based on 1,039.15 hectares of natural area and 7,320 population from Hàm Tiến commune.
Administrative boundaries of Hàm Tiến ward: East borders Mũi Né ward; West borders Phú Hài ward; South borders the East Sea; North borders Thiện Nghiệp commune.
After adjusting administrative boundaries to establish Hàm Tiến ward, Hàm Tiến commune retains 7,404.05 hectares of natural area and 5,297 population. Rename Hàm Tiến commune to Thiện Nghiệp commune.
4. Establish Phú Hài ward under Phan Thiết city based on the entire natural area and population of Phú Hải commune.
Phú Hài ward has 1,213.2 hectares of natural area and 10,980 population.
5. Establish Đa Mi commune under Hàm Thuận Bắc district based on 14,537.69 hectares of natural area and 2,774 population from La Dạ commune.
Administrative boundaries of Đa Mi commune: East borders Đông Tiến commune; West borders Tánh Linh district; South borders La Dạ commune; North borders Lâm Đồng province.
After adjusting administrative boundaries to establish Đa Mi commune, La Dạ commune retains 11,212.61 hectares of natural area and 1,985 population.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bình Thuận Province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government, and heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the Da Mi commune, the La Da commune retains an area of natural land of 11,212.61 hectares and a population of 1,985.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan Province, the Minister, the Director of the Government Organizational and Cadre Affairs Board, and the heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
