Decision No. 89/2005/QD-BTC Amending and supplementing the maritime security fee levels prescribed in Decision No. 88/2004/QD-BTC dated November 19, 2004 of the Minister of Finance on the collection of maritime fees and charges.

Decision No. 89/2005/QD-BTC amends and supplements the maritime security fee levels for seagoing vessels and Lash vessels from 2006 onwards. The fee level will gradually decrease in subsequent years.

Pursuant to the Vietnam Maritime Code;

Pursuant to Ordinance on Fees and Charges No. 38/2001/PL-UBTVQH10 dated August 28, 2001;

Pursuant to Government Decree No. 77/2003/ND-CP dated July 1, 2003 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

Pursuant to Government Decree No. 57/2002/ND-CP dated June 3, 2002 detailing the implementation of the Law on Fees and Charges;

At the proposal of the Ministry of Transport in Circular No. 6669/BGTVT-TC dated October 25, 2005,

DECISION:

Article 1. Amending and supplementing some provisions of Decision No. 88/2004/DEC-TC dated November 19, 2004 of the Minister of Finance on promulgating maritime fee and charge levels as follows:

Article 1-II, Section B, Part II is amended and supplemented as follows:

Ships entering and leaving seaports, specialized ports for oil and gas, transiting to Cambodia must pay the maritime security fee as follows:

From January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006, the maritime security fee level shall be 90% of the level specified in this Table.

From January 1, 2007 onwards, the maritime security fee level shall be 75% of the level specified in this Table.

Article 1-III, Point 1, Section 1.2, Part III is amended and supplemented as follows: The pilotage fee level in the Bien Tri - Hon Chong area: 40 dong/GT-HL, minimum collection: 500,000 dong/ship/trip.

Article 2This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. Organizations and individuals subject to maritime fees and charges; agencies and organizations collecting maritime fees and charges and related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
