Pursuant to the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Special Consumption Tax Law and the Value Added Tax Law No. 57/2005/QH11 dated November 29, 2005;
Pursuant to Decree No. 77/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 1, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;
THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
Pursuant to Decree No. 119/2007/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2007 of the Government on the production and trading of tobacco;
Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2008/NĐ-CP dated June 9, 2008 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 170/2003/NĐ-CP dated December 25, 2003 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Price Ordinance;
Considering the proposal of the Vietnam Tobacco Association (document No. 76/HHTL-CV dated September 15, 2008) and Vietnam Tobacco Corporation (document No. 686/TLVN-TT dated September 12, 2008) regarding the minimum selling price for cigarette products and the agreement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (document No. 9785/BCT-CNN dated October 13, 2008);
To amend and supplement the end of Article 1 of Decision No. 69/2008/QT-BTC dated August 27, 2008 of the Minister of Finance on setting minimum selling prices for cigarette products with the following content:
On the basis of "The minimum selling price for cigarette products produced by tobacco enterprises shall not apply to unfiltered cigarettes until the end of 2009 and domestically produced cigarettes actually exported."
At the proposal of the Director of the Price Management Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. The Director of the Price Management Department, General Directors, and Directors of domestic tobacco manufacturing enterprises are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
"The minimum selling price for cigarette products produced by tobacco manufacturing enterprises does not apply to unfiltered cigarette products until the end of 2009 and domestically produced cigarette products that are actually exported."
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. The Director of the Price Management Department, the General Directors, and the Directors of tobacco manufacturing enterprises are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
