Regarding the appointment and removal of members of the State Council of Academic Titles for the term 2009-2014

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to Decision No. 174/2008/QĐ-TTg dated December 31, 2008 of the Government Chairman on standards and procedures for appointing and removing the titles of professor and associate professor;
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Training at Official Letter No. 4960/BGDĐT-TCCB dated June 17, 2009 regarding the appointment of members of the State Council of Academic Titles;
DECISION:
Article 1. Appointing and removing members of the State Council of Academic Titles for the term 2009-2014 established by Decision No. 240/QĐ-TTg dated February 23, 2009 and Decision No. 499/QĐ-TTg dated April 17, 2009 of the Government Chairman, as follows:
1. Removing Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Dao from the Institute of Science and Technology for Transportation and Logistics from the membership of the State Council of Academic Titles according to his personal wish.
2. Appointing Professor Doctor Nguyen Van Dinh, former Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the University of Transportation, as a member of the State Council of Academic Titles.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance.
Article 3. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairmen of provincial and municipal People's Committees under the central government, the State Council of Academic Titles, and individuals named in Article 1 shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
