Decree No. 9/NV On the Dissolution of the "Women and Children Welfare Association"

DECREE-LAW

No. 9 NV dated January 18, 1946

CHAIRMAN OF THE PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Upon the proposal of the Minister of Interior;

In accordance with the Decree-Law of February 21, 1933 establishing general organizational forms for associations in Indochina;

In accordance with the resolution of the former Governor-General of Tonkin dated October 15, 1946 allowing the establishment of the association "Protection of Women and Children" (Ligue pour la protection de la Femme et de l—Enfant annamites);

In accordance with the statutes of the association "Protection of Women and Children";

Considering that this association is no longer active;

After deliberation by the Government Council;

ENACTS THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:

Article 1: The association "Protection of Women and Children" (Ligue pour la protection de la Femme et de l—enfant annamites), established pursuant to Decision No. 15 dated October 15, 1940 by the former Governor-General of Tonkin, is hereby dissolved as of the date this Decree-Law takes effect.

Article 2: All assets of this association shall be confiscated and placed under the management of the Ministry of Relief.

Article 3: The Ministers of Interior, Finance, and Relief shall enforce this Decree-Law.
