PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Land Law dated July 14, 1993 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Land Law dated December 2, 1998;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of An Giang Province (document number 1100/TT-UB dated August 12, 1999) and the report of the Land Administration General Department (report number 1356/TT-TCĐC dated September 9, 1999),
DECISION:
Article 1. Recover 53,751 square meters of land in Mỹ Xuyên Ward, Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province and allocate it to the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Residential Areas in Long Xuyen City for the purpose of investing in the construction of infrastructure for the Bà Bầu residential area.
After completing the infrastructure development of the Bà Bầu residential area, the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Residential Areas in Long Xuyen City shall be responsible for transferring the entire area of land to the People's Committee of An Giang Province for the People's Committee to consider allocating the land to organizations, households, and individuals according to the provisions of the Law on Land.
Article 2. Pursuant to Article 1 of this Decision, the People's Committee of An Giang Province shall be responsible for:
1. Determining the boundaries of the land on the map and on-site, registering in the State Land Registry; issuing certificates of land use rights to house buyers and those receiving land for housing construction;
2. Directing the collection of land use fees to the state budget;
3. Guiding compensation for land users whose land has been recovered;
4. Strictly supervising the use of land, architectural construction, and environmental protection in accordance with the provisions of the law.
Article 3. The Ministers of Construction and Finance, the Director-General of the Land Administration General Department, the Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province, the Head of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Residential Areas in Long Xuyen City, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
