DECISION
On the allowance system for dike inspectors directly involved in handling emergencies during flood and storm warnings
participate directly in handling emergencies when there is an alarm for floods or storms

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Decree on Dikes dated November 9, 1989 and the Decree on Flood and Storm Prevention and Control dated March 8, 1993;
At the proposal of the Minister in charge of the Government’s Organization-Civil Service Department and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
DECIDES:
Article 1. To establish an allowance system for dike inspectors directly involved in handling emergencies during flood and storm warnings at the following rates:
- VND 7,000 per person per day for level 1 and level 2 warnings;
- VND 10,000 per person per day for level 3 warnings.
Article 2. The financial resources to implement the allowance system as stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision shall be allocated within the annual state budget for water conservancy works.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from its date of issuance.
Article 4. The Minister in charge of the Government’s Organization-Civil Service Department, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development are responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decision.
Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the central government, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees, and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for enforcing this Decision.
