MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEFENSE
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Law on Enactment of Legal Normative Documents dated November 12, 1996, amended and supplemented on December 16, 2002;
Pursuant to Decree No. 30/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of National Defense;
Pursuant to Decree No. 50/2005/NĐ-CP dated April 11, 2005 of the Government on the organization and operation of civil enforcement agencies, civil enforcement offices, and civil enforcement officers;
Considering the proposal of the General Chief of Staff,
DECISION:
Article 1. Establish the Department of Enforcement under the Ministry of National Defense based on the Civil Enforcement Management Office of the Ministry of National Defense.
- The Department of Enforcement under the Ministry of National Defense shall be subject to administrative military management by the General Staff Headquarters.
Article 2. Attached to this Decision is the "Regulation on the Position, Functions, Tasks, Authorities, and Work Relationships of the Department of Enforcement under the Ministry of National Defense".
Article 3.
1. The organizational structure of the Department of Enforcement under the Ministry of National Defense includes: the Commanding Officer, specialized departments, the Finance Board, and the Administrative Board.
2. The specific staffing organization of the Department of Enforcement under the Ministry of National Defense shall be prescribed by the General Staff Headquarters.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace Decision No. 247/QD-QP dated June 15, 1993 of the Minister of National Defense regarding the establishment of the Civil Enforcement Management Office of the Ministry of National Defense.
The General Chief of Staff, Director of the Political General Department, Director of the Logistics General Department, Director of the Technical General Department, Director of the Defense Industry General Department, Head of the Department of Enforcement under the Ministry of National Defense, and Heads of relevant agencies and units shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
