DECREE
Regarding the division of Quang Hoa District, Cao Bang Province into Phuc Hoa and Quang Uyen Districts

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. The Quang Hoa District of Cao Bang Province shall be divided into Phuc Hoa and Quang Uyen Districts.
Phuc Hoa District has an area of 25,010 hectares and a population of 21,235, with nine administrative units including the communes: Hoa Thuan, My Hung, Hong Dai, Cach Linh, Trieu Au, Dai Son, Tien Thanh, Luong Thien, and the township of Ta Lung. The administrative boundary of Phuc Hoa District: East borders Ha Lang District and the People's Republic of China; West borders Hoa An District; South borders Thach An District and the People's Republic of China; North borders Quang Uyen District. Quang Uyen District has an area of 38,331 hectares and a population of 43,081, with seventeen administrative units including the communes: Binh Lang, Cai Bo, Chi Thao, Dao Khon, Doc Lap, Hong Ding, Hanh Phuc, Hong Quang, Hoang Hai, Phuc Sen, Phi Hai, Quoc Phong, Quang Hung, Quoc Dan, Tu Do, Ngoc Dong, and the township of Quang Uyen. The administrative boundary of Quang Uyen District: East borders Ha Lang District; West borders Hoa An and Tra Linh Districts; South borders Phuc Hoa District; North borders Trung Khanh and Tra Linh Districts.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree shall be abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang Province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
