THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/ND-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2003/ND-CP dated May 2, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Fisheries;

Pursuant to Decree No. 66/2005/ND-CP dated May 19, 2005 of the Government on ensuring safety for persons and fishing vessels engaged in fisheries activities.

At the proposal of the Director of the Fisheries Resource Exploitation and Protection Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. The accompanying this Decision "Inspection Regulations for Fishing Vessels" are hereby promulgated.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

These regulations replace the provisions regarding the registration and inspection of fishing vessels in the Inspection Regulations for Fishing Vessels, Registration of Fishing Vessels and Crew Members issued together with Decision No. 494/2001/QD-BTS dated June 15, 2001 of the Minister of Fisheries.

Article 3. The Head of the Office; Heads of Departments; Inspector General of the Ministry; Directors of the Fisheries Resource Exploitation and Protection Department; Directors of Fisheries Departments and Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development are responsible for implementing this Decision ./.
