PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Law on the Conclusion, Accession and Implementation of International Treaties of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam dated June 14, 2005;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Public Security at document number 88-CV/BCA(V12) dated June 30, 2008.
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on cooperation in combating international terrorism, organized crime, illegal trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, similar substances, precursors, and other types of crimes signed in Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Turkey, on August 22, 2008.
Article 2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall handle diplomatic procedures for the approval and notify relevant agencies in our country of the date when the above Agreement comes into effect.
Article 3. The Ministry of Public Security shall take the lead and coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to establish a Sub-committee on Crime Prevention and Control within the framework of the Joint Committee of Vietnam - Turkey to implement this Agreement./.
