Regarding the establishment of wards and adjustment of administrative boundaries of wards
belonging to Phan Rang - Thap Cham town, Ninh Thuan province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, we establish some wards and adjust the administrative boundaries of certain wards belonging to Phan Rang - Thap Cham town, Ninh Thuan province as follows:
1. Establishing Dong Hai ward based on the entire natural area and population of Dong Hai commune; Dong Hai ward has 211.71 hectares of natural area and 20,724 inhabitants.
2. Establishing My Dong ward based on 252.2 hectares of natural area and 11,389 inhabitants of My Hai commune.
Administrative boundary of My Dong ward: East borders Dong Hai ward (newly established); West borders Tan Tai ward; South borders Ninh Phuoc district; North borders My Hai commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish My Dong ward, My Hai commune remains with 573.34 hectares of natural area and 5,979 inhabitants.
3. Establishing Dai Son ward based on 112.97 hectares of natural area and 5,623 inhabitants of Thanh Hai commune and 13.3 hectares of natural area and 1,352 inhabitants of Thanh Son ward. Dai Son ward has 126.27 hectares of natural area and 6,975 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of Dai Son ward: East borders Van Hai commune; West borders Phuoc My ward; South borders Thanh Son ward and Phu Ha ward; North borders Thanh Hai commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundary to establish Dai Son ward, Thanh Hai commune remains with 937.03 hectares of natural area and 5,805 inhabitants; Thanh Son ward remains with 90.05 hectares of natural area and 7,273 inhabitants.
4. Adjusting the administrative boundaries of some wards specifically as follows:
a) Detaching 87.56 hectares of natural area and 1,755 inhabitants from Phuoc My ward to be merged into Bao An ward.
b) Detaching 15.6 hectares of natural area and 541 inhabitants from Phu Ha ward to be merged into Phuoc My ward.
c) Detaching 4.22 hectares of natural area and 236 inhabitants from Kinh Dinh ward and 2.51 hectares of natural area from Tan Tai ward to be merged into Thanh Son ward.
d) Detaching 9.22 hectares of natural area and 233 inhabitants from Kinh Dinh ward to be merged into Tan Tai ward.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries:
Bao An ward has 321.87 hectares of natural area and 10,027 inhabitants.
Phuoc My ward has 593.85 hectares of natural area and 11,322 inhabitants.
Phu Ha ward has 136.97 hectares of natural area and 10,714 inhabitants.
Thanh Son ward has 96.78 hectares of natural area and 7,509 inhabitants.
Tan Tai ward has 266.39 hectares of natural area and 7,022 inhabitants.
Kinh Dinh ward has 39.17 hectares of natural area and 7,656 inhabitants.
After establishing and adjusting the administrative boundaries of the aforementioned wards and communes, Phan Rang - Thap Cham town has 15 administrative units, including the wards: Do Vinh, Bao An, Phuong My, Phu Ha, Thanh Son, My Huong, Dao Long, Tan Tai, Kinh Dinh, My Dong, Dai Son, Dong Hai and the communes: Thanh Hai, Van Hai, My Hai.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
