Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries of Yen Son district to expand Tuyen Quang city and establish several wards under Tuyen Quang city, Tuyen Quang province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province,
DECREE:
Article 1. The administrative boundaries of Yen Son district shall be adjusted to expand Tuyen Quang city and establish several wards under Tuyen Quang city, Tuyen Quang province as follows:
1. Adjusting the administrative boundaries of Yen Son district to expand Tuyen Quang city:
Adjusting 7,523.33 hectares of natural area and 31,933 inhabitants from Yen Son district (including the entire natural area and population of the communes: An Tuong, Luong Vuong, An Khang, Thai Long, and Doi Can) to be managed by Tuyen Quang city.
Tuyen Quang city has 11,917.45 hectares of natural area and 90,793 inhabitants.
Administrative boundaries of Tuyen Quang city: East, North, and West border Yen Son district; South borders Son Duong and Yen Son districts.
2. Establishing several wards under Tuyen Quang city:
a) Establishing Tan Ha ward under Tuyen Quang city based on adjusting 524 hectares of natural area and 8,525 inhabitants from Y La commune.
Tan Ha ward has 524 hectares of natural area and 8,525 inhabitants.
Administrative boundaries of Tan Ha ward: East borders Minh Xuan ward, Tuyen Quang city; Southeast borders Phan Thiet ward, Tuyen Quang city; West borders Trung Mon commune, Yen Son district; South borders Y La ward, Tuyen Quang city; North borders Thang Quan commune, Yen Son district and Trang Da commune, Tuyen Quang city.
b) Establishing Y La ward under Tuyen Quang city based on the remaining 350.31 hectares of natural area and 3,921 inhabitants of Y La commune.

Yen Son district retains 113,425.68 hectares of natural area and 157,908 inhabitants, with 31 subordinate administrative units including: Tan Binh town and communes: Doi Binh, Nhu Khe, Nhu Han, My Bang, Chan Son, Thang Quan, Tu Quan, Quy Quan, Chieu Yen, Luc Hanh, Xuan Van, Phuc Ninh, Trung Truc, Kien Thiet, Tan Long, Tan Tien, Trung Mon, Hoang Khai, Kim Phu, Phu Lam, Phu Thinh, Thai Binh, Tien Bo, Dao Vien, Trung Son, Cong Da, Kim Quan, Hung Loi, Trung Minh.
Administrative boundaries of Yen Son district: East borders Dien Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province; Northeast borders Cho Don district, Bac Kan province; Northwest borders Ha Yen district; West borders Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province; Southwest borders Doan Hung district, Phu Tho province; South borders Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province; North borders Chiem Hoa district.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Minister of Interior, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
