DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER

On assigning Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem to replace Comrade Vu Khoan,

former Deputy Prime Minister, as Chairman of the National Committee for APEC 2006

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Based on work requirements,

DECISION:

Article 1. Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem is assigned to replace Comrade Vu Khoan, former Deputy Prime Minister, as Chairman of the National Committee for APEC 2006, to direct the implementation of tasks set out in Decision No. 195/2005/QD-TTg dated August 5, 2005 of the Prime Minister.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.

Article 3. Ministers of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairmen of the People's Committees of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and the individuals named in Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision.
