CIRCULAR
ISSUING NATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL SKILL STANDARDS
FOR OCCUPATIONS IN THE TOURISM GROUP
Based on the Vocational Training Law 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 76/2013/NĐ-CP dated July 16, 2013, promulgated by the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;
BASED ON THE DECISION NO. 09/2008/QĐ-BLĐTBXH dated March 27, 2008 of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs regarding the issuance of regulations on principles and procedures for developing and issuing national occupational skill standards;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE TRAINING DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR;
THE MINISTER OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM ISSUES THE NATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL SKILL STANDARDS FOR OCCUPATIONS IN THE TOURISM GROUP.
Article 1. ACCORDING TO THIS CIRCULAR, THE NATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL SKILL STANDARDS IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM INCLUDE:
1. FOOD SERVICES;
2. FOOD PREPARATION TECHNIQUES;
3. HOTEL MANAGEMENT;
4. RESORT MANAGEMENT;
5. ENTERTAINMENT AND SPORTS SERVICE MANAGEMENT;
6. TOUR GUIDING;
7. TRAVEL AGENCY MANAGEMENT;
8. MEETING, INCENTIVE, CONVENTION, AND EXHIBITION (MICE) TOURISM MANAGEMENT.
Article 2. THIS CIRCULAR TAKES EFFECT FROM MARCH 5, 2014.
Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE TRAINING DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR, THE HEADS OF ORGANIZATIONS AND UNITS, AND ASSOCIATED INDIVIDUALS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR./.
