Circular No. 01/2015/TT-BNG revokes Circular No. 2461/2001/TT-BNG dated October 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs guiding the implementation of Article 1 and Decision No. 114/2001/QĐ-TTg dated July 31, 2001 on amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decision No. 210/1999/QĐ-TTg dated October 27, 1999 of the Prime Minister regarding several policies for overseas Vietnamese.

CIRCULAR

Providing for the abolition of Circular No. 2461/2001/TT-BNG dated October 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs guiding the implementation of Article 1 of Decision No. 114/2001/QĐ-TTg dated July 31, 2001 on amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decision No. 210/1999/QĐ-TTg dated October 27, 1999 of the Prime Minister regarding some policies for Vietnamese people abroad.

Pursuant to Decree No. 58/2013/NĐ-CP dated June 11, 2013 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 50/NQ-CP dated December 10, 2010 on simplifying administrative procedures within the scope of functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

At the proposal of the National Committee for Vietnamese Communities Abroad;

The Minister of Foreign Affairs promulgates this Circular to abolish Circular No. 2461/2001/TT-BNG dated October 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs guiding the implementation of Article 1 of Decision No. 114/2001/QĐ-TTg dated July 31, 2001 on amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decision No. 210/1999/QĐ-TTg dated October 27, 1999 of the Prime Minister regarding some policies for Vietnamese people abroad.

Article 1. Scope of Application

Abolish Circular No. 2461/2001/TT-BNG dated October 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs guiding the implementation of Article 1 of Decision No. 114/2001/QĐ-TTg dated July 31, 2001 on amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decision No. 210/1999/QĐ-TTg dated October 27, 1999 of the Prime Minister regarding some policies for Vietnamese people abroad.

Article 2. Implementation

Procedures for issuing Certificates confirming Vietnamese origin shall be carried out in accordance with current laws.

Article 3. Effective Date

This Circular takes effect from the date of issuance.
