Pursuant to the Law on Foreign Trade Management dated June 12, year 2017;

Pursuant to Decree No. 96/2022/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Decree No. 105/2024/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2024 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 96/2022/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Decree No. 26/2018/NĐ-CP dated February 28, 2018 of the Government on the Charter of Organization and Operation of Vietnam Electricity Corporation;

The Minister of Industry and Trade issues this Circular stipulating the tariff quotas for import of goods salt, poultry eggs in 20255.

Article 2. Method of allocation of tariff quotas for import of goods salt, poultry eggs in 2025

The tariff quotas for import of goods salt, poultry eggs in 2025 shall be allocated according to the method prescribed in Article 9 of Decree No. 69/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Article 15 of Circular No. 12/2018/TT-BCT dated June 15, 2018 of the Minister of Industry and Trade detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Decree No. 69/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.

Article 3. Recipients of allocation of tariff quotas for import of goods salt, poultry eggs in 2025

1. The tariff quota for import of goods salt shall be allocated to traders directly using it as raw material for producing medicine, medical products, and chemical products.

2. The tariff quota for import of goods poultry eggs shall be allocated to traders with import needs.

Article 4. Time of commencement of allocation of tariff quotas for import of goods salt, poultry eggs in 2025

1. The time of commencement of allocation of the tariff quota for import of goods salt as raw material for producing medicine and medical products in 2025 shall be from the date this Circular takes effect.

2. The Ministry of Industry and Trade shall consult with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to determine the time of commencement of allocation of the tariff quota for import of goods salt as raw material for producing chemical products and the tariff quota for import of goods poultry eggs in 2025.

Article 5. Effective Date

This Circular takes effect from March 2, 2025 until December 31, 2025./.
