BASED ON THE VIETNAM MARITIME CODE dated June 14, 2005;
BASED ON THE INLAND WATERWAY TRAFFIC LAW dated June 15, 2004;
Pursuant to the Quality of Goods Ordinance No. 18/1999/PL-UBTVQH10 dated December 24, 1999;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 179/2004/ND-CP dated October 21, 2004 on state management of product and commodity quality;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 34/2003/ND-CP dated April 4, 2003 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSAL OF THE HEAD OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM MARINE INSPECTION AGENCY,
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE INDUSTRY STANDARDS: LIFE-SAVING APPLIANCES

THE DIRECTOR OF THE MINISTRY'S OFFICE, THE DIRECTOR OF THE MINISTRY'S INSPECTORATE, THE HEADS OF THE MINISTRY'S DEPARTMENTS, THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM MARINE INSPECTION AGENCY, THE DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF TRANSPORTATION/TRANSPORT AND PUBLIC WORKS, THE HEADS OF THE AUTHORITIES, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
