Regarding the establishment of the Military Arts and Culture University

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Education Law dated December 2, 1998;

Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Government approving the planning of the university network for the period 2001-2010;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at Circular No. 11774/TTr-BGD&ĐT dated December 21, 2005 regarding the establishment of the Military Arts and Culture University,

DECISION:

Article 1. Establish the Military Arts and Culture University based on the Military College of Arts and Culture.

Article 2. The Military Arts and Culture University is under the Ministry of National Defense; the university has legal personality, its own seal, and separate accounts.

Article 3. The Military Arts and Culture University operates in accordance with the University Charter issued together with Decision No. 153/2003/QĐ-TTg dated July 30, 2003 of the Prime Minister.

Article 4. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 5. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and municipal People's Committees directly under the central government, and the Rector of the Military Arts and Culture University are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
