APPROVING THE MODEL OF MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER LICENSES FOR ROAD USE

BASED ON THE TRAFFIC LAW ON JUNE 29, 2001;
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 34/2003/ND-CP OF APRIL 4, 2003 ISSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT REGULATING THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION;
PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSAL OF THE HEAD OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION,
DECISION:
Article 1. APPROVES THE MODEL OF MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER LICENSES FOR ROAD USE (ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION) TO BE ISSUED TO DRIVERS OF ALL TYPES OF MOTOR VEHICLES FOR ROAD USE.
Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE AND SHALL REPLACE DECREE NO. 3277/2002/QD-BGTVT OF OCTOBER 10, 2002 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION REGARDING THE APPROVAL OF THE MODEL OF MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER LICENSES FOR ROAD USE.
Article 3. THE VIETNAM HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ORGANIZING THE DEVELOPMENT, APPROVAL AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS TO REVISE THE MANAGEMENT OF DRIVER LICENSES; ORGANIZING THE PRINTING, MANAGEMENT AND GUIDANCE FOR THE UNIFORM ISSUE AND RENEWAL OF DRIVER LICENSES ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
Article 4. THE CHIEF OF THE MINISTRY'S OFFICE, THE CHIEF OF THE MINISTRY'S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, THE HEADS OF THE MINISTRY'S DEPARTMENTS, THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION, THE DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS, THE HEADS OF THE AGENCIES, ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
