THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING
On the basis of Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
On the basis of Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
On the basis of Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
On the basis of Circular No. 17/2009/TT-BGDĐT dated July 25, 2009 of the Minister of Education and Training issuing the Early Childhood Education Curriculum;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Infrastructure and School Equipment, Children's Toys; the Director of the Department of Early Childhood Education; the Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment,
The Minister of Education and Training hereby decides:
Article 1. Issuing with this Circular the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education; including six age groups as follows:
- Group of children aged 3 to 12 months.
- Group of children aged 12 to 24 months.
- Group of children aged 24 to 36 months.
- Kindergarten class for children aged 3 to 4 years.
- Kindergarten class for children aged 4 to 5 years.
- Kindergarten class for children aged 5 to 6 years.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from March 28, 2010. This Circular replaces Decision No. 2227/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated May 8, 2006 of the Minister of Education and Training on the issuance of the Minimum List of Toys - Educational Equipment for the pilot program of Early Childhood Education reform. All previous regulations that conflict with the provisions of this Circular are hereby abolished.
Article 3. Based on the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education issued with this Circular, the Departments of Education and Training shall be responsible for directing the procurement, production, collection, use, and maintenance of equipment serving teaching at early childhood education facilities.
Article 4. The Head of the Office; the Director of the Department of Infrastructure and School Equipment, Children's Toys; the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance; the Director of the Department of Early Childhood Education; the Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment; the Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training and the Directors of the Departments of Education and Training are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
