Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
The Prime Minister issues this Decision amending and supplementing certain provisions of the Regulation on Response Activities to Oil Spill Incidents issued together with Decision No. 02/2013/QĐ-TTg dated January 14, 2013 of the Prime Minister.
Pursuant to the Maritime Code of Vietnam dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic dated June 15, 2004;
Pursuant to the Law on the Sea of Vietnam dated June 21, 2012;
At the request of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the National Committee for Search and Rescue;
THE PRIME MINISTER DECIDES to issue the Regulations on Oil Spill Incident Response Operations,
Article 1. This Decision promulgates the Regulation on Response Activities to Oil Spill Incidents.
Article 2. These Regulations shall take effect from March 1, 2013, and replace Decision No. 103/2005/QD-TTg dated May 12, 2005, of the Prime Minister on the Regulations on Oil Spill Incident Response Operations.
Article 3. The Chairman of the National Committee for Search and Rescue, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees under the central city administrations are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
