ISSUING "NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT USED IN MEDICINE"

Pursuant to Decree No. 20/2013/NĐ-CP dated February 26, 2013 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;

BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 07/2010/NĐ-CP OF JANUARY 25, 2010 PROVIDING GUIDELINES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE LAW ON ATOMIC ENERGY;

Based on Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions

At the proposal of the Director of the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Agency and the Head of the Legal Department,

THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ISSUES NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT USED IN MEDICINE.

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR IS THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT USED IN MEDICINE (QCVN 12 : 2016/BKHCN).

Article 2. The Director of the Office, Heads of Departments under the State Bank of Vietnam, Governors of the State Bank of Vietnam Branches in provinces and centrally administered cities, Chairmen of the Board of Directors, Chairmen of the Board of Members, General Directors (Directors) of credit institutions and foreign bank branches are responsible for organizing the implementation of this Circular./.

THE PROVISIONS OF THE DECISION NO. 32/2007/QĐ-BKHCN OF DECEMBER 31, 2007 OF THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY REGARDING THE INSPECTION OF MEDICAL X-RAY DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE INSPECTION OF COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT USED IN MEDICINE FROM THE DATE THIS CIRCULAR TAKES EFFECT.

FOR COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY EQUIPMENT USED IN MEDICINE THAT HAS BEEN INSPECTED BEFORE THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS CIRCULAR, THE INSPECTION RESULTS WILL BE RECOGNIZED UNTIL THE NEXT REQUIRED INSPECTION ACCORDING TO LEGAL PROVISIONS.

Article 3. THE DIRECTOR OF THE RADIATION AND NUCLEAR SAFETY AGENCY, HEADS OF ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS CIRCULAR.

DURING THE IMPLEMENTATION, IF THERE ARE ANY DIFFICULTIES, ORGANIZATIONS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS SHOULD PROMPTLY REPORT TO THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FOR STUDY AND AMENDMENT./.
