DECISION OF THE MINISTER

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

(Regarding the issuance of industry standards: Short-term preservation of agricultural microbial gene resources (348-99), Long-term preservation of agricultural microbial gene resources by freeze-drying method (349-99))

- Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1998 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

- Pursuant to Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Government stipulating the division of responsibilities for state management of product quality.

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT.

NOW ISSUES THE FOLLOWING INDUSTRY STANDARDS:

10 TCN: 348-99 Short-term preservation of agricultural microbial gene resources, consisting of three sections with twelve points.

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department - CLSP.

Article 1. 10 TCN: 349-99 Long-term preservation of agricultural microbial gene resources by freeze-drying method, consisting of three sections with thirteen points.

The Heads of the Office, Heads of the Science and Technology Department and Quality Control Division, Leaders of relevant organizations, and individuals related to this matter are responsible for implementing this decision./.

Article 10 TCN: 349-99 Preservation for a long term of agricultural microbial gene sources by freeze-drying method includes three sections with thirteen points.

Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Department of Science and Technology and Standardization, the Leaders of organizations, and related individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
