MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Based on Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on tasks, powers, and state management responsibilities of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Based on Decree No. 29/CP dated March 30, 1994 of the Government on tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Based on Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Based on Directive No. 14/2001/CT-TTg dated June 11, 2001 of the Prime Minister on reforming the general education program to implement Resolution No. 40/2000/QH10 of the National Assembly;

Based on the Minutes of the Meeting of the Appraisal Council for the Lower Secondary School Program of Subjects;

At the proposal of the Chairman of the National Appraisal Council for the Lower Secondary School Program;

At the proposal of the Director of the General Secondary Education Department;

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. Issued together with this Decision is the Lower Secondary School Program (including the Common Part and the Detailed Programs of 19 subjects) to be uniformly applied throughout the country according to the schedule specified in Directive No. 14/2001/CT-TTg dated June 11, 2001 of the Prime Minister.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. The Director of the General Secondary Education Department shall be responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decision.

Article 3. Chairmen of Provincial People's Committees, Chief of the Office, Directors of the General Secondary Education Departments, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, Directors of Departments of Education and Training are responsible for implementing this Decision.
