RESOLUTION
On the organizational structure of the Government and the number of Deputy Prime Ministers for the XIIIth tenure

SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM
Pursuant to Article 84 and Article 114 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10;
Pursuant to Article 2 of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly;
Pursuant to Article 2 and Article 3 of the Law on the Organization of the Government;
Pursuant to Rule 29 of the Standing Rules of Sessions of the National Assembly;
Pursuant to the Report No. 39/TTr-TTg dated July 28, 2011 of the Prime Minister proposing that the National Assembly decide on the organizational structure of the Government and the number of Deputy Prime Ministers for the XIIIth tenure,
RESOLUTION:
A. THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE GOVERNMENT:
The organizational structure of the Government for the XIIIth tenure consists of 22 ministries and ministerial-level agencies.
Chapter I. Ministries include the following 18 ministries:
1. Ministry of National Defense;
2. Ministry of Public Security;
3. Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
4. Ministry of Home Affairs;
5. Ministry of Justice;
6. Ministry of Planning and Investment;
7. Ministry of Finance;
8. Ministry of Industry and Trade;
9. Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
10. Ministry of Transport;
11. Ministry of Construction;
12. Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;
13. Ministry of Information and Communications;
14. Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs;
15. Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;
16. Ministry of Science and Technology;
17. Ministry of Education and Training;
18. Ministry of Health.
Chapter II. Ministerial-level agencies include the following four agencies:
1. Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs;
2. State Bank of Vietnam;
3. Government Inspectorate;
4. Office of the Government.
Chapter III. The Government shall specify the functions, tasks, powers, and organization of the ministries and ministerial-level agencies.
B. THE NUMBER OF DEPUTY PRIME MINISTERS OF THE GOVERNMENT
The Government for the XIIIth tenure has four Deputy Prime Ministers.
This Resolution was adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, XIIIth term, at its first session, on August 2, 2011./.
